It was 2014 and I’d finally unlocked it. I had made several attempts to write a complete manuscript, without any success. I’d written short stories, but nothing that was any good. I had even tried writing a novel by hand. You know, ink and paper, but I got to a point where I didn’t know how to proceed. The characters were just standing around like, “Now what?” And I didn’t have an answer.
