Mind Your Own Fucking Business.

As children, most people can’t wait to grow up because they think they can do whatever they want to do and will not have to listen to anybody.

Unfortunately, as adults, there are many things that you have no choice about.

If you want to have a roof over your head, you’ll need to have a job, a business or some way to make money.

You’ll have to pay bills.

You’ll have to pay taxes.

All this we understand.

But when it comes to some decisions; they shouldn’t have anything to do with anyone else.

This might sound familiar.

If a woman wants an abortion, she should be able to get one.

If someone wants to engage in any sort of consensual sex in the privacy of their own homes, they should be able to.

If they want to marry someone of the same-sex, they should be able to.

If they want to dress in drag, they should be able to.

And why?

I’ll tell you why.

Because if it’s not hurting anyone else, physically, emotionally or financially, then it doesn’t matter.

It’s none of your business.

Why is that concept so hard for people to understand?

Especially the evangelicals, conservatives and republicans.

The hyper-religious claim it’s against God.

Hypothetically speaking, let’s say they’re right.

You may ask what is against God.

Just pick something and I’m sure they’ll say it’s against God.

Abortion, homosexuality, sex, music, joy. Just pick something.

But honestly, if that’s the case, does God really need you to defend what he does or doesn’t want? Supposedly, he created everything that exists without your input, so I’d say he doesn’t need you to be judge, jury and executioner.

So the answer to that question is no. He doesn’t need you for a damn thing.

The truth is, as I have stated in other articles, it’s about control.
