Black women are finally reaching a point where the understand that they are traumatized. They have only reached a point, where they realize that maintaining the trope of strong Black woman is tearing them apart from the inside out. Hell, any person in general doesn't really start getting to the core of who they are until they are at least 30; and that's only if they have time to sit and introspect. It's hard. Black women have to really love themselves before they can be loved, and finding that self love is a killer. No, it shouldn't be so hard, but the more the pain is explored, hopefully the more we can heal.

I agree with you 100%. I deduced long ago that humans are governed by two things; fear and shame. Collectively, if we could release the fear and shame, and accept empathy and equality; it is unreal how quickly we could turn our existence on this planet around.
